Shantanu Consul takes over as Secretary (Border Management)

Shantanu Consul takes over as Secretary (Border Management) New Delhi, Feb 11: Shantanu Consul today took over as Secretary (Border Management) in the Union Home Ministry.

He replaces U N Panjiar, who has been appointed Secretary, Union Ministry of Water Resources.

Consul, a 1974 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre, before taking over as Secretary (Border Management) was the Administrator of the Universal Services Obligation Fund in the Department of Telecommunications. (ANI)
