LAS VEGAS, Dec. 3  -- A Republican seeking to unseat U. S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has been indicted by a state grand jury, officials said.

Nevada Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki, the first Republican to announce he was mounting a challenge of Reid and considered a viable candidate, was indicted on four counts of misappropriation and falsification of public records, The Hill reported Wednesday. He is accused of committing the crimes while he was state treasurer.

According to a criminal complaint filed on Tuesday in Las Vegas' Justice Court, hip hop moghul - Marion 'Suge' Knight, who was allegedly found beating his girlfriend off a busy thoroughfare, has been charged with two counts of felony drug possession and one count of misdemeanor battery.

A specialty auto fitter gave a Smart Fortwo a kind of celebrity makeover at a Las Vegas trade show earlier this month, transforming the subcompact car into a mini-Batmobile, complete with a black airbrush paint job and tailfins.

Designer George Barris, renowned for creating the original Batmobile in the 1960s superhero television series, teamed up with the Californian specialist firm Vertical Doors to build the Batsmart.

Washington, Nov 12 : Las Vegas seems to bring out people''s desire to kill themselves, according to a new study.

Multi-talented superstar Hrithik Roshan tore a ligament in his ankle while shooting for his upcoming home production ‘Kites’ in Las Vegas in US.  

The injury took place on the same leg on which Hrithik suffered a 10 cm ligament tear while shooting for action-oriented flick ‘Krrish.’ 

Hrithik had flown off to Singapore for treatment. Afterward he returned to do an item number for their home production ‘Krazzy 4’ subsequent to which his injury worsened.

A source from Vegas who saw the complete action was amazed to see Hrithik continuing work regardless of the injury. 

Las Vegas  - Former American football legend O. J. Simpson went on trial Monday on charges of armed robbery but suffered an immediate setback when the judge rejected a request from his attorneys to ask potential jurors if they considered Simpson a murderer.

Simpson, 61, was sensationally acquitted in the 1994 slayings of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman, though a civil jury later found him liable for the deaths.

Now he is on trial for allegedly robbing two dealers in sports collectibles at gunpoint at a seedy Las Vegas hotel last September. Together with codefendant Clarence "C. J." Stewart, 54, Simpson faces a dozen charges, including kidnapping, which carries a potential life sentence.
