Norwegian Ambassador calls on Baalu

New Delhi, Nov 14: The newly appointed Norwegian Ambassador to India, Ann Ollestad called on Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, T. R. Baalu, here today.

She discussed the issues relating to the maritime cooperation between the two countries, especially in context of the proposed visit of an Indian team to Norway next month.

Ollestad also briefed the Minister on the developments relating to the areas of cooperation in the shipping sector.

The Ambassador also conveyed the Minister about the interest and readiness of the Norwegian entrepreneurs to make investments in the Indian road and shipping infrastructure endeavours. (ANI)
