Gammon Infrastructure secures LoA worth Rs 1510 crore

Gammon Infrastructure Projects Limited, a part of Gammon India Ltd, has received the letter of allotment (LoA), valued at Rs 1510 crore, from Himachal Pradesh Government, for the development of the Youngthang Khab Hydro Electric Project.

The scope of work involves designing, constructing, financing, operating and maintaining of project, which is spread on the river Spiti in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh.

The Project will have a proposed installed capacity of 261 MW and will be built on BOOT basis.

The concession period of the project will be 40 years from the date of commencement of operations.

Recently, the company has secured a contract worth Rs 800 crore from Andhra Pradesh Government.
