Ahead of Valentine's Day, Melbourne among world’s top ten romantic cities

Valentine's DaySydney, Feb. 11: Melbourne is the Australian city to make the grade of the world's most romantic cities in a survey ahead of Valentine's Day.

Online accommodation website Wotif. com surveyed nearly 2,000 of its customers around the globe, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.

Europe picked up six of the top 10 destinations, with Venice corning the number one spot.

The most romantic cities in the world are as follows:

1. Venice

2. Paris

3. Rome

4. Vienna

5. New York

6. Florence

7. Prague

8. Las Vegas

9. Melbourne

10. Koh Samui (ANI)
