Badal announces compensation for train engine-bus collision victims

Prakash Singh BadalChandigarh, Feb 2, : Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Monday announced an ex-gratia of Rs. one lakh each for the families of victims killed in a collision between a bus, and a train engine in Ferozepur District.

Expressing deep sorrow over the accident, Badal said the entire expenditure on treatment of the injured would be borne out by the State Government.

A school bus collided with a train engine at an unmanned railway crossing near Ferozepur, killing six children and injuring at least 17. (ANI)
