Jordan's foreign minister to visit Berlin Wednesday

Jordan Map Amman - Jordanian Foreign Minister Salah Bashir is to visit Berlin on Wednesday for a one-day visit and talks with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier and other officials, an official statement said Tuesday.

Bashir's talks with German officials are expected to focus on means of boosting bilateral ties as well as latest Middle East developments, foremost the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks and the situations in Lebanon and Iraq, officials said.

The Jordanian foreign minister is scheduled to proceed from Berlin to Stockholm to attend an international conference on Iraq. (dpa)
