Gitanjali Infratech forms new subsidiary “Kolkata Axis Mall”
Gitanjali Infratech Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gitanjali Gems Ltd, has formed a subsidiary named Kolkata Axis Mall Ltd to develop malls. Gitanjali Gems operates in jewellery and retail sector while Gitanjali Infratech manages infrastructure projects.

Recently, Gitanjali Gems has formed a special purpose vehicle named West Bengal SEZ Ltd to undertake development activities across India's special economic zones.

Mumbai-headquartered Gitanjali Gems Limited engages in the manufacture, sale, export, and retail of diamonds and jewellery in India. It operates in two segments, Diamonds and Jewellery. The company markets its products to distributors and retailers under Maya, Sanginl, Collection G, Gili, Asmi, D’Damas, Giantti, and Nakshatra brand names.
