The research from Mayo Clinic has found a link between inadequate vitamin D levels and the amount of narcotic medication taken by patients who have chronic pain.

The researchers found that patients who required narcotic pain medication, and who also had inadequate levels of vitamin D, were taking much higher doses of pain medication - nearly twice as much - as those who had adequate levels.

The "Artballing" series of paintings involved the batsman hitting paint covered balls at a stencil over a canvas to create a unique set of 60 images.

According to The Sun, each picture involves him recreating all the shots he played in his most notable innings. The balls hitting the canvas recreate images such as the cricketer holding up the Ashes from 2005.
