Lahore, Apr. 11 : Pakistan captain Younus Khan has said that his team would beat Australia 5-0 in the forthcoming one day international series in the UAE.

Talking to reporters at the Gaddafi Stadium here, Khan, while replying to a question said: "No doubt be 5-0, but in favour of Pakistan."

He admitted that Pakistan has not played much international cricket in recent times, and it could affect its performance in the series.

Khan, however, said his team was capable of handing out surprises.

London, Apr. 11: A married footballer has been arrested over a claim he and a pal sexually attacked a teenager.

John Oster, 30, and Paul Wethers went to the girl’s home after a night out in London’s West End, reports The Sun.

The ex-Everton and Sunderland star allegedly groped the 19-year-old. Wethers, in his 30s, is accused of having sex with her against her will.

Police are investigating whether the men planned to “roast” the student — a term used by footballers who have group sex with a woman.

University of Zurich researchers have found that expert golfers have a higher volume of the grey-coloured, closely packed neuron cell bodies that are known to be involved with muscle control.

The finding attains significance as it suggests that golfers who start young, and commit to years of practice, can also grow their brains while their handicaps shrink.

Lahore, Apr. 11: Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar has once again come under the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) anti-doping scanner ahead of the forthcoming one-day international series against Australia in the UAE.

Sources said Akhtar’s mysterious and sudden increase in fitness levels just weeks after suffering a major knee injury could attract the ICC’s attention.

The ICC has made an International Registered Testing Pool (IRTP) which includes top players from the eight leading ODI teams in the world.
