London, Mar. 10: Liverpool football club coach Rafa Benetiz has demanded that the nation respect his side more than they have in the past.

The Liverpool boss, famed for recent rants, believes his achievements have not been recognised.

Benitez, whose side face Real Madrid tonight, said: “I don’t think the messages about our performance have been as positive as they could have been. But when you look at what we have done in reaching two finals and a semi, it means a lot of credit for the players, a lot of memories for the club and a lot of money too.”

London, Mar. 10: Inter-Milan football team coach Jose Mourinho has rubbished claims that he is after Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson's job. Interviews at the weekend had quoted Mourinho saying he was ready to replace Fergie as United chief and would defeat him in the second leg.

But Mourinho said that he made no such comments.

Former Chelsea boss Mourinho's advisor Eladio Parames told SunSport last night: "Jose did not give an interview or speak with anyone about Alex Ferguson's job.
