Explosion reported south of Sri Lankan capital

Sri Lanka, colombo ColomboColombo  - A bomb explosion has been reported in the outskirts of Sri Lanka's capital, police said late Friday.

The bomb blast took place in Piliyandala, 12 kilometres south of Colombo near the main bus stand, they said.
