Election Commissioner to review poll preparedness in Kolkata today Kolkata, Apr 28 : Election Commissioner V. S. Sampat and his Deputy R. Balakrishnan will review the poll preparedness for the coming Lok Sabha polls here today.

During their visit, the team will conduct video conference with the district administration of Maoist infested Purulia, Bankura and West Midnapur districts.

Besides, the Commission will also interact with the state administration and representative of political parties.

Fourteen parliamentary seats covering nine district of the state will go for poll on next Thursday. (ANI)
