Detroit’s over Toyota
After the much hyped recall issue, and the big dent faced by Toyota on its reputation, many like Ford, General Motors and Chrysler, must be feeling overwhelmed with joy. As they have got the chance of stealing and bringing back the lost chunk of shares in the market and driving the customer's home.
However if we measure the reasons for them being happy, yes at this moment it seems to be true as in the February sales the Toyota numbers have faced a decline of 9%, while on the other hand side Detroit and Ford melted with gains.
Detroit car lovers were fumed as they find the Toyota recalls as a manipulated stint to draw the attention from its own leaks in the hole by simply putting the quality of Ford, GM and Chrysler to trash.
According to sources, when the Toyota officials went Washington, D. C., to test the recalls and safety complaints, Toyota has already mailed the issue of "Automotive Recalls in Perspective" to the podiums of key congressional members.
