David Beckham tops ten richest British footballers earning list
London, Nov.7 : 
Former England captain and Los Angeles Galaxy star David Beckham tops the list of Britain’s ten richest footballers, with earnings of 112 million pounds.
Thirty-two-year-old Becks has three times the 37 million pounds earned by Newcastle’s Michael Owen, who comes in second on the list.
Man United’s Wayne Rooney, 22, and Cardiff’s Robbie Fowler, 32, each earn 30 million pounds.
Becks is 45th overall in soccer mag Four-Four-Two’s Football Rich List Top 100 — which includes just 14 players.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, said to be worth 10.8 billion pounds, sits top.
British footballers are worth 343 million pounds. (ANI)
