Dakar Rally car hits spectator Buenos Aires - A spectator was seriously injured when he was struck by a Dakar Rally car close to the end of Saturday's stage, organizers said.

The 29-year-old man suffered head injuries when he was hit by a Hummer driven by Frenchman Eric Vigouroux seven kilometres from the end of the stretch between Cordoba and Buenos Aires.

The injured man was taken to hospital at Rosario, organizers said. dpa
