BKD-Congress Agreement Will Go Forward - Tikait

Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) chief Mahendra Singh Tikait declared that the grouping of his political arm Bahujan Kisan Dal (BKD) with Congress would carry on.
He stated that the coalition would go on as the centre government lead by Manmohan Singh has adopted various steps for the benefit of the farmers.
Both the parties had decided on a pre-poll seat-sharing earlier than UP meeting poll in the state earlier this year.
But, he criticized the agreement farming purported by Mayawati government saying it was against the farmers’ interest.
